The Research
Tracing Their Footsteps
Our aim is to document all the dates and venues and where the Trapp Family Singers performed and shed light on the global impact of their artistry.
The goal is to place commemorative plaques at as many of these concert venues as possible, ensuring that the Trapp Family Singers’ history remains a visible and enduring part of cultural heritage. Each plaque will serve as a historical reference, honoring the music, resilience, and legacy of the family.
Through this project, we seek to connect communities with the places where history was made and inspire future generations to explore the power of music in bringing people together.

Honoring their legacy...
The project aims to research, document, and archive the historic venues where the Trapp Family Singers performed during their worldwide tours. From 1934 to 1956, the family gave over 2,000 concerts across North America, Europe, South America, Australia, and beyond, sharing their music and message of hope with audiences across cultures and generations.
